The National Trust of Australia has awarded State Buildings the prestigious Heritage Conservation Award for their exceptional work in restoring the Treasury Building to its former glory.

The restoration project, which took over three years to complete, involved careful preservation of original 19th-century architectural features while seamlessly integrating modern amenities. Every detail, from the ornate ceiling roses to the sandstone facades, was meticulously restored using traditional craftsmanship techniques.

Preserving Western Australian Heritage

This award recognizes not only the technical excellence of the restoration but also State Buildings' commitment to preserving Western Australia's architectural heritage for future generations. The project has set a new benchmark for heritage conservation in the state.
